Program Manager
Matt Stonebraker serves as Program Manager at Magnolia Meadows, a recovery facility dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellness of first responders. With a deep passion for helping others, Matt finds purpose in guiding those who serve our communities with courage and integrity as they rebuild their strength and resilience. Drawing from both professional leadership experience and personal dedication to service, he is committed to creating a supportive environment where first responders can heal, grow, and rediscover their sense of balance and purpose.
Matt brings a unique perspective to his work as someone in long-term recovery from PTSD and substance use, experiences that have profoundly shaped his understanding of trauma, resilience, and the recovery process. His lived experience allows him to connect with clients on a personal level, fostering trust and empathy while providing practical guidance rooted in both experience and evidence-based practices. Over the past five years, Matt has worked directly in the field of mental health and substance use recovery, helping to develop programs and strategies designed to meet the complex needs of individuals seeking healing and lasting recovery.
In addition to his professional and personal experience, Matt is a full-time student pursuing his lifelong goal of becoming a licensed therapist. This academic pursuit complements his practical expertise, allowing him to integrate clinical knowledge with hands-on recovery support. He is deeply committed to helping first responders not only overcome the challenges of trauma and substance use but also cultivate lasting resilience, purpose, and well-being. Through his leadership and advocacy, Matt continues to help create a space where healing is possible, and where those who serve can regain strength, balance, and hope for the future.
Matt has a deep passion and love for animals, particularly dogs. He enjoys caring for the facility dog, Kali, and at home, he shares his life with his loyal companion, Jack. Together, they embrace the simple joys of everyday life—whether it’s mowing the lawn, exploring nature, taking long walks, or cooling off with a swim in the creek. For Matt, these moments of downtime with Jack provide balance, perspective, and a reminder of the healing power of companionship and the outdoors.
