Executive Director Emdria Certified EMDR Therapist

Licensed Professional Counselor/Licensed Mental Health Counselor ( TN& FL) | Certified Drug and Alcohol Therapist | EMDR Therapist

Madden brings over a decade of frontline experience in the mental health and addiction recovery field, shaped by both professional dedication and personal transformation. Her journey began in 2014 as a Behavioral Health Technician, and through years of hard work and commitment to her own recovery, she advanced to roles as a therapist, Program Director, and now serves as the Executive Director of GRIT at Magnolia Meadows.

Madden’s passion for helping first responders and veterans is deeply rooted in her own family. Her brother is a retired Lieutenant with the Orlando Fire Department, and her nephew currently serves in the United States Air Force. She once pursued EMT training herself, but addiction derailed that path—an experience that ultimately deepened her empathy and purpose. Since entering recovery in February 2008, she has remained sober and dedicated her life to supporting others who face similar battles.

Licensed in both Florida and Tennessee, Michelle is a Certified Drug and Alcohol Therapist and EMDR therapy. She understands firsthand the courage it takes to ask for help and the strength required to rebuild. Her leadership is marked by a direct, compassionate approach that challenges clients to grow while honoring the reality of their experiences.

"I know the uncertainty you’re facing, the grit it takes to keep moving forward, and the relief that comes with recovery. My role is to stay alongside you—focused, consistent, and committed—from start to finish."

Outside of work, Madden enjoys spending time with her wife and their four dogs—whether traveling, cooking, riding motorcycles, or binge-watching crime shows. As a proud Florida Gator fan, Madden brings a competitive edge to game days, making for some lively moments in the orange-and-white state of Tennessee. Having moved from the fast-paced, congested environment of Central Florida, Madden has embraced the small-town charm of Waverly—along with its slower pace, friendly community, and beautiful seasonal changes, from vibrant fall colors to crisp, cold winters.
