Emotional Support German Shepherd

Kali, our 6-year-old German Shepherd (born November 12, 2018), joined the Magnolia Meadows family in May 2024. Weighing in at 112 pounds, she’s one of the biggest—and most loved—members of our team. Originally, her previous owner wanted her to have more space, more people to love, and more opportunities to socialize—and she’s found all of that and more here.

Kali has a special gift for connecting with clients. She greets everyone with love and playfulness, lays quietly at their feet during difficult moments, and always seems to know when someone needs comfort or a distraction. Whether it’s offering a nudge for attention or simply being present, she is one of the strongest supporters of our clients’ healing journeys.

Outside of her “work,” Kali is full of energy and personality. She could play outdoors all day and night if given the chance. She especially loves barking at deer, turkeys, and armadillos (though she hasn’t caught one yet) and chasing after bumblebees (without much luck either). She enjoys car rides, trips to Tractor Supply for baths, Walmart runs, and even attending conferences with the team.

Since becoming part of Magnolia Meadows, Kali has thrived—no longer needing medications and sleeping soundly through the night. Her favorite snacks include bacon treats, biscuits, cutie oranges, and just about anything that might happen to fall from the table.

Besides our chef, Kali might just be the most loved staff member we have. She embodies the heart of Magnolia Meadows: unconditional support, joy, and companionship for those who need it most.
